Founded in 1939 as San Jose Bible College, William Jessup University works to help you cultivate your purpose and achieve your goals through earning an affordable online degree. Our programs offer individualized academic support in a faith-based environment, and they’re designed to fit within your busy schedule so that you can be on the right path to success. Our seven-week online courses are designed to fit in your busy schedule. You can study during your own time, wherever you wish. All you need is a computer and a reliable internet connection. We also offer six start dates for all of our programs, so you can begin your classes whenever it is most convenient to you.
Tuition costs for William Jessup: (semester courses)
William Jessup courses are normally $500/credit, but Jessup offers Virtues Campus students a greatly reduced rate of only $100/credit.
Most Virtues Campus students take 15 credits per year and 30 credits total from Jessup to earn their Associate’s degree in 2 years.
15 credits x $100 = $1,500/year
Jessop charges a $20/unit library/technology fee
Books not included: Jessop does try to keep book costs down.
Jessop also offers a 25% discount on the next 2 years credits for
your BA.
Financial Aid:
Virtues Campus students who complete the FAFSA could be eligible for federal grants and student loans. These can be applied toward your William Jessup tuition and fees. Left over aid may be applied toward Virtues Campus fees.
William Jessup does not offer any additional institutional aid on top of the discount it already offers to Virtues Campus students.

Once students are accepted at Virtues Campus, students will be given instructions for applying to William Jessup.
Accreditation: Jessup is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC)—one of seven major regional accrediting bodies that accredits public and private schools, colleges and universities in the United States—and is a founding member of the International Alliance for Christian Education.
In addition, Jessup is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) and is further accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
