Let’s Launch The Third Education Revolution
Theme: The Victorious Church & the Healing of the Nations
In January 2019, in Uganda, 240 leaders of a network of 30,000 churches met together to consider what they must do to:
Disciple their nation
Spread truth’s light that removes the darkness of sin: corruption, ignorance, disease and despair that destroy and paralyze individuals, families, and nations
Fill the earth with the knowledge of God to produce the fruit of abundant life
Five days of intense Bible study and prayerful deliberations led them to conclude that the Church, not the state, is baptized with the Spirit of Truth; truth, not post truth secular ideologies transform nations. Therefore, the Church must take the responsibility to teach truth and shape the nation’s character, for it is the Church that is baptized with the Spirit of holiness.
To be a Disciple is to be a Learner. Therefore, ‘to disciple’ a nation means to educate a nation.
The leaders resolved:
** Every church must become a center of 21st century Hybrid Education
** If every believer is to be a priest and a king, Church leaders must be re-trained to become shepherds — not just preachers
** Shepherds must serve the lambs to develop their potential
** Shepherds can become conduits of abundant life, provided they are re-trained to use knowledge and compassion to tackle problems including ignorance, poverty, poor health, and breakdown of family
This paradigm altering understanding of the Church’s mission resulted in an International Consultation held in Phoenix, AZ in July 2019.
The follow-up Consultation in South Korea (February 2020) birthed the Kingdom Education Fellowship (KEF).
KEF began mobilizing prayer warriors from around the world for Zoom prayer fellowship on Wednesdays.
Thirty thought-leaders wrote out our 751-page manifesto, The Third Education Revolution. It has been printed in Uganda, the USA, India, and Europe. The book is available from www.SoughtAfterMedia.com and www.Triaze.com. Translations are underway in Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Chinese.
Virtual and in-person conferences have turned the Manifesto into a global movement. Its vision is to equip a million churches to take education back from postmodernism over the next two decades. The movement is building up a global network of scholars who will create a new education ecosystem including: a new online Encyclopedia and Dictionary; Research, Writing, and Publishing; Films, Documentaries, and Podcasts. The movement will support research faculties in existing colleges and universities and develop one or more research universities.
We imagined that our vision — the Church educating the nations — was radical, but the Lord has expanded it to include revolutions in the spheres of healthcare, agriculture, technology, and communication. The Summit will consider some specific proposals in these directions.
Several school associations, colleges, and universities in the USA, South Korea, Africa, India, Indonesia, Europe, and South America have come on board to serve local Churches to bring healing to the nations.
We are humbled that the Revolution has captured the imagination of some serious investors. They want to invest in the mission to ensure that God’s will is done on earth.
The Philadelphia Summit is bringing together concerned leaders from around the world to reflect on the question: Why is the body of Christ so reluctant to obey her Lord’s command to disciple the nations?
We will study the book of Revelation to rethink the Church’s relationship with the New Jerusalem. We’ll study how the Victorious Church, the radiant Bride of Christ, can fulfill God’s plan to bless and heal the Nations.
The Summit will be much more than an inspirational conference. It will transform “virtual” relationships into legal structures — For Profit and Not-for-Profit. We will look at some specific proposals, appoint and anoint leaders, and approve budgets as we consider our Brand and name.
The Summit will conclude with a fund-raising dinner at 6 pm on Friday June 10th at Hotel Doubletree near the International Airport at Philadelphia, PA.
